What patients say on Google

“I had a very positive experience with American Psychiatric Care, LLC. From the beginning, the staff demonstrated professionalism, patience, and clear communication, which made the process smooth and comfortable. What stood out most was how attentive and respectful the team was during my visits. They took time to listen, explain things clearly, and make sure I understood the steps moving forward. It felt like genuine care rather than just another appointment.I also appreciated the focus on continuous care and follow-up, which shows their commitment to helping patients make real progress over time. Overall, I would give them a solid 4-star experience. There’s always room for small improvements, but the professionalism, direct communication, and quality of care make them a strong option for anyone looking for psychiatric support in the area.”

“Making an appointment was really easy and the ladies at the front desk where so sweet and kind. I felt so welcomed. Unfortunately, when I had an appointment/evaluation with Grace O, my experience quickly changed. She started off with reading a script and introducing herself without any niceties of “hi” or “how are you?”. She came off very cold, direct and insensitive. She would interrupt or speak to me like she had very little patience, and lacked any kind of bedside manner. There is already a stigma around mental health, and it took a lot for me to make this appointment and be vulnerable with my struggles. I rarely open up and always try to solve things on my own. It was very disheartening to leave having had that experience. Especially in a place that is supposed to be supportive and help with mental health issues. I went to my car and cried after the appointment.”

“I always have a great experience and being able to have appointments via video calls makes everything convenient and efficient. I feel it also recognizes & makes life adaptable for patients who have trouble leaving the home & they can more easily get mental health support as well!”

“The office staff I've dealt with have been polite, friendly, and prompt in returning calls. The person I saw for my actual appoint, Grace Onuegbu, is not so good. She was curt, argumentative, and couldn't provide explanations for a policy when I was seeking clarification. This specific policy would prevent me from getting a medication from her that my primary care doctor would prescribe me, as his practice doesn't have the policy. If the policy was set, I can't argue with that, but I hoped she would at least patiently explain it. I had asked her just to tell me WHY the specific policy was in place and what its justification was. Instead, she raised her voice and said she couldn't change the policy. Then she told me if I wanted to get some medications from my doctor and some from her, that wouldn't work, and I should get all of them from him. I agree. I'll be seeing him from now on.”
